When you are purchasing a manufactured home or getting ready to remodel one, you may need to schedule a manufactured home\/tie-down inspection. Our engineers have more than 15 years of experience in the construction and inspection industries and fully understand the requirements for manufactured homes<\/a>. Our inspectors are ready to provide you with the information that you need in order to make an informed decision about buying a manufactured home.<\/p>\n

Insurance Policies
\nIn order to get a homeowner’s insurance policy on a manufactured home, the insurance company might require you to submit the results of an independent manufactured home\/tie-down inspection. We are able to provide you with the engineering certifications for site-built homes, manufactured homes and tie-down strap with anchorage. This documentation is used by the insurance company to make sure that the residence is in sound structural condition and is anchored properly in order to withstand minor to moderate weather conditions without incurring an undue amount of damage.<\/p>\n

Securing a Mortgage Loan
\nYou might also need a manufactured or tie-down inspection in order to complete your mortgage loan application. Lenders want to have verifiable information that the home is in good condition and that you will have enough money to make your monthly mortgage payments as well as funding for repairs that need to be done. The lender is taking on the risk and the inspection findings are used to make sure that the lender’s level of risk is not burdensome.
