You would always make it safely to your destination with all four tires fully inflated, and you wouldn\u2019t have to worry about getting stuck on the side of the road without enough air to continue. Unfortunately, that\u2019s not how the world works. You may wind up with a flat tire from time to time, and you should be prepared for such a situation. As a VW mechanic, Ottohaus has seen many different situations over the years, and we know that you can never predict exactly what will happen on the roads.<\/p>\n<p>Know How to Use Your Spare<\/p>\n<p>Sure, you may know where the spare tire is located on your vehicle, but do you know how to put it on? Don\u2019t take that task for granted, as you wouldn\u2019t be the first car owner to get stuck and then realize that putting the spare on is a little more difficult than imagined. Consider doing a dry run at home sometime just to become familiar with the process. If you end up with a flat and your car is in a dangerous position near the roadway, get away safely and call for help.
