There are three major categories within elder law that include: estate planning, guardianship, and Medicaid. There may be additional services that a lawyer may focus on, but these categories are the most popular issues that people deal with as they get older.<br \/>\n<strong>Estate Planning<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Estate planning is a particularly important part of elder law as it focuses on what happens with and individual\u2019s assets once they die.
