This type of hearing loss can be caused by problems with the nerves from the inner ear that travel to the brain. Sensorineural hearing loss is the most common type of permanent hearing loss. Some of the primary causes are illnesses, genetic hearing loss, aging, blunt force to the head and listening to loud noises.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>Mixed Hearing Loss<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Mixed hearing loss is when both conductive and sensorineural hearing loss occurs at the same time. In this case, there can be damage to all three sections of the ear (inner, middle and outer). Mixed hearing loss occurs when different types of symptoms occur simultaneously. You may have an ear infection and be experiencing loud noises at the same time.
